Known as functional fitness, the CrossFit philosophy is all about moving your body in a variety of ways at high intensity, all of which can be done in every day life.
Merging several sports together - gymnastics, running, weightlifting, etc.- the workouts are designed to fully encompass natural movements of the body.
Simply put, CrossFit's speciality is not specializing. Each class is designed to enhance every area of fitness: flexibility, strength and endurance. But the real motivation comes from your fellow classmates - those members in the gym who are pushing themselves as well. With like-minded people in each class, the workouts become fun, as well as motivating. This is when the gym becomes a community.
If you aren't familiar with CrossFit, come try a class! We have many classes scheduled each day, and our small class sizes ensure you will get an intimate experience.
A certified CrossFit coach is right beside you every step of the way, helping to improve your form, ensure the movements are performed correctly, while also giving you a boost of encouragement along the way.
